This kit is based on the fundamental principle of dot immunology, where the full viral antigen SRV5 of the SRV virus is spotted onto a nitrocellulose membrane, enabling specific binding with SRV virus antibodies present in the sample. Through an enzymatic reaction, the corresponding antigen spot turns blue, allowing for the qualitative detection of SRV virus antibodies.
